Turku welcomes all SYLRA members, along with their handbag carries and friends, to hold the SYLRA meeting in the original capital city of Finland. Turku was founded in 1229 and is now the 6^th largest city with nearly 200 000 inhabitants, only 160 km from Helsinki, the present capital city.
